Our smallest convention attendees are sure to make a splash with our professional mermaids at the convention. Every hour, for an hour, a trained mermaid entertainer will frolic and play in our zero-depth entry children's pool. Make memories that will last a lifetime as children interact with REAL mermaids!
All children's swim sessions are included in the price of a Main Entry Ticket
Children will also have access to our land-based pirate adventure area, filled with games and activities. More info below.

Ticket Info
- Pool Access included with Main Entry ticket
- Pool open for Children's Swim from 10 AM to 4 PM on May 17th and 10 AM to 4 PM on May 18th, 2025 (Ages 0-12)
- Children are welcome to swim in their tails or monofins, though they are not required to enter the pool. Tails may be available onsite for purchase from our vendors. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when they are in their tails.
- Lifeguards will be on site, please use good sense and caution.
- No breath-holding contests/unauthorized breath-hold instruction onsite
- Goggles are encouraged, NO large flotation devices (floaties included) will be allowed - only coast guard certified life-vests are permitted. Please remember water and sunscreen!
- Wristbands must be worn while in water and pool area
- Bathrooms to change are on site, as well as food vendors
- No glass whatsoever, glitter, or oil based lubricants will be allowed in the pool area

Are you ready to immerse your little guppies in an enchanting under-the-sea adventure while you enjoy some much-deserved "me time"? Welcome to Camp MerPixie, the magical getaway for your children that's making a splash at this year's convention!
Join us for an hour-long escapade where your kids can explore the wonders of the ocean with our very own MerPixies leading the way. Each session is a treasure trove of activities designed to spark creativity and joy. Watch your child's imagination come to life as they craft their very own keepsake to remind them of their MerPixie journey.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Our oceanic oasis is brimming with lively songs that will have your little ones singing along, games that will have them swimming in excitement, and an ocean of bubbles to chase. And let's not forget the puppet pals who are ready to share their stories from the deep blue!
While your kids are having the time of their lives, you can take a breather. Indulge in the convention, knowing your children are in a safe and vibrant environment filled with laughter, color, and the best kind of magic—fun!
Camp MerPixie is more than just a break for parents and a blast for kids. It's a place where memories are made and imaginations run as wild as the waves.

Camp Merpixie FAQ
-Sessions are $50 for a single, $80 for a double session
-Sessions take place on May 17th and 18th at 10 AM, 11 AM and 12 PM
-For Guests between 2-5 years of age
-Up to 8 children's in each session
-Camp sessions are one hr long
-Prompt drop off/ pick up required.
-All parents of children getting dropped off must complete our emergency contact form and stay within the gated pool area during the entire session.
-2 sessions per child, per day maximum
-Activities at Camp MerPixie are land based

A workshop for guppies to safely learn mermaiding
Fin Fun Mermaid swim classes teach how to safely swim with a mermaid tail and monofin, as well as how to properly care for a fabric mermaid tail.
These classes incorporate mermaid skills such as fluke splashes, core rolls, and some synchronized swimming moves. But most of all, our mermaid swim classes provide a safe environment to play and have fun!

Games and Treasure Hunts!
Activities Galore for our Smallest Guppies
Mera and her crew of pirates will be leading our littlest guppies at our Kid Games area!* This ongoing activity will take place all Saturday long during the Main Convention on May 18th and 19th. Try your hand at any of our undersea games, and win some pirate treasure! Scavenger Hunt participants will be given tasks and clues to collect and bring back to the aquatic super team in exchange for an adorable take home prize. And of course, they are welcome to snap a photo with Mera when they complete their mission!
Mera and the kid games area are visiting the convention as representatives of The League for Hope. The League for Hope's mission is to bring costumed characters in to visit chronically ill children at hospitals, residences, like the Ronald McDonald House, and charity events. They work with staff to provide the experience they are looking for, be it superheroes, princesses, pirates, mermaids, fairies, movie characters, or computer game characters—anything nerdy and kid friendly that the kids may enjoy interacting with. All their volunteers are experienced working with kids who are going through a major health or life issue. Their goal is to share hope by giving kids a chance to be kids for their visit.

Farasha has had the honor to Mermaid entertain for Vegas’ icons, Siegfried and Roy’s vintage pool party, she has also dazzled as a mermaid-spokesmodel at Consumer Electronics Show (CES), a mermaid performer at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), mermaid performer for Cowabunga Bay waterpark and JW Marriott Resort Summerlin, “Swim With A Mermaid”, entertainer and was one of the featured mermaids in Vegas’ premier magazine, ‘Desert Companion’ life style article.
In addition to numerous pool parties for both children and adults, corporate events and resort appearance, this Desert Siren has been Pirate Fest Las Vegas’ resident Queen Mermaid for over a decade. Her mission is to create beauty, magic, encourage artistic freedom and imagination.

leading lost travelers to the underground rivers or “Wadi’s” that the

Mermaid also swims on land on Roller Skates! She is the only "roller
skate dancing" mermaid around, look for her on her signature High-Heel
skates at the Bubble Ball! This means she is excellent at translating
mermaid form and technique. Learn proper mermaid arm movement and
coordinated leg movements as well as a Mermaid Sea Shanty in Mermaid

Her career as a professional mermaid started when she was hired by the city of Long Beach Washington to appear as a Jellyfish and to also be their Mermaid at their Summerfest events.She also was a chair for their Holidays at the Beach event.
She has made appearances in various parades, as a Mermaid face painter at Farmer Markets, Ren/Fantasy Faires, a music video, a promotional video/ online storytime for the Yuma Arizona library system, Dio’s De Los Ninos, and at other community events throughout the years. Recently she was awarded the title of Ocean Ambassador on the Royal Court of Mermaids at Any Age.

Keenon couldn't be more excited to return to the California Mermaid Convention! CAMerCons own flash mob choreographer, he also previously for the convention he has led mermaid dance workshops, performed for the children’s and has been involved in discussion panels. Hailing from Los Angeles California, he has been seen performing around the world. A trained dancer, professional director/choreographer, and college professor of Movement; he travels the country bringing joy in entertainment through theatre, dance, and mermaiding. With those skills on social media he also uses his platform to spread messages of joy, positivity, and awareness in many of the worlds social situations. Also an ambassador for Finfolk Productions, he takes pride in being a voice for BIPOC in the industry and creating the representation he wishes there was more of. Mermaiding now for six years, he finds the most joy in spreading magic, and reminding people that it’s ok to be a little bit silly sometimes!
