Summer camp - a mermaid Wellness retreat

Are you sad Cali Mercon is over? We are TOO! Join us for the event of SumMER as we gather to retreat, relax and reconnect with our community. This camp is just what you will need to recharge after the hectic days of summer.
Lounge in a luxurious 20 person hot tub, or splash into a 17' deep, infinity pool with stunning views of the Northern California wine country. Pamper yourself at our Facial Bar and Mud Mask Station. Make a one of a kind top or accessory with Mermaid and Mom. Shoot in a dream pool with Brett Stanley Photography, and tromp around the grounds of this eclectic working farm to shoot a surreal mer out of water set with Lee Harland Photography. And this year we are honored to offer a workshop with the legendary Marina the Fire-Eating Mermaid!
ALL the summer camp vibes included - each activity will have a corresponding SumMER Camp badge you will earn to take home!

-Exclusive Mermaid Camping on a private, legal, working cannabis/flower/fruit farm with stunning views of Northern California, large scale art installations and incredible family history. Majority of plants are out of sight, but will be shown on the tour if harvest season permits. Product available for purchase if season allows.
-A Workshop with Marina the Fire-Eating Mermaid; Advanced course available for returning students
-A 15 Min Underwater Shoot with Brett Stanley Photography; 3 Edits Included
-A 15 Min Dry Shoot with Lee Harland Photography; 2 Edits Included

$50 per mer discount available for mers able to share a 30 minute workshop/activity/session during the event. Limited workshop leader discounts available.
Retreat at a Glance
-This event takes place September 5th - 7th at Glynraven Gardens in Hopland
-We must book a minimum amount of mers to move forward with the event; if we do not book the minimum and must cancel, ticketholders will be immediately refunded no less than 3 days after the cancelation
-No INS/OUTS to prevent dust contamination of event space
-Camping and Glamping Accommodation Available
-All bag lunch, snacks and dinner provided with your ticket package
- You may bring limited alcohol on site, but please use your best judgement
-Our tickets are open to Merfolk 18+ ONLY as Glynraven Gardens is a clothing optional space
-No lifeguard will be on duty, swim at your own risk
-No glass of any kind allowed on the pool deck (reusable drinking vessels are encouraged!)
-Tickets are non refundable except in case of event cancelation

Shoot with, and be coached by world-renown underwater photographer Brett Stanley. The 17 ft deep saline pool is a gorgeous backdrop to create some stunning underwater masterpieces!
All guests receive one 15 min shoot with Brett, and three final edits. Additional images may be purchased directly from the photographer.

Create gorgeous works of art with our favorite Sacramento Photographer, Lee Harland. The eclectic and gorgeous grounds at Glynraven are a stunning backdrop for mermaid shoots. You never know what you are going to find!
All guests receive one 15 min shoot with Lee, and two final edits. Additional images may be purchased directly from the photographer.

Create the mer-fect top, crown or accessory of your dreams with our Weraables Workshop. Mermaid Rachel and Mermon Laurie of Mermaid and Mom will be on hand to guide and give advice.
We will be going step by step through the process of creating a top using items from SumMER Camp Sponsor ID Fabrications - but can assist in the creation of any item.
Mermaid and Mom will be bringing a variety of beautiful items to create and embellish your wearables, and each tickeholder will receive a discount code for items from ID Fabrications!

Beginning with breathwork and ending with unity consciousness, this workshop is designed to enhance your experience in the water. Identify the difference between “just being aware” and “mind commentary” so you can let go of the commentary and blissfully merge with the water.
Please bring a towel or yoga mat for comfort.

Join Natasha Nirvana for Mermaid Melodies: a Poolside Sound Bath. Participants can choose to bask in healing tones poolside or float peacefully in the water (please bring your own floatation device if desired). Glyraven Gardens is a working farm with so much to see! From Zinnia Lane to the Glass Sided shower, from the abundant art to roaming white peacocks. Don't forget to have the bathing experience of your life in the glass sided shower, or doze in the shade on the property. We highly recommend starlight soaking in the huge hot tub every night!
All ticket holders are invited to partake in some group photography sessions - including our group photo and video, and sunset shoots!

One of our greatest responsibilities as Merfolk and lovers of the water is to care for our oceans and beaches! We are organizing a beach cleanup in Anaheim, followed by a mermaid photo shoot with Mermaid Wrangler Photography. What could be better than helping our precious oceans, and then shooting with a whole school of mermaids!
Schedule
11 AM to 1 PM: Beach Cleanup!
1 PM: Lunch Break! - bring your lunch
1:30 PM: Shoot with Mermaid Wrangler Photography - you will be sent a link with your high-res photos!

A Day in the Parks
Sunday, March 2nd 2025 - Open to Everyone
We will be gathering for group photos, ride takeovers, mermaid fun and raffles throughout the day! You may even win a ticket to The California Mermaid Convention! To participate, you must purchase a Disney Parks ticket, through their website.
Wear your best mermaid and jungle/snake inspired attire (no costumes please, Disney only allows children to attend parks in full costume) and make this the splashiest year yet!
