Traveling to the Con
Sacramento is a transpiration hub in California! Fly in to Sacramento International Airport, or enjoy a beautiful train ride up the coast on Amtrack.
Recommended hotels can be found through our friends at Visit Rancho Cordova at the Hilton Homewood Suites
Once you are in town, it's easy to grab a rental car, or just hop on SacRT - they have services for accessibility too!
Where is the Event Located?
Our events are located in and around the city of Sacramento, CA. Event locations will include -
- Main Convention: 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, May 17th and 9 AM to 4 PM Sunday, May 18th are at Cordova Community Pool and Hagan Community Center - 2197 Chase Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
- Dive Bar: 1016 K Street in Downtown Sacramento for our Launch Party
- Old Town Sacramento: The Promenade of Mermaids will be held along the Embarcadero

Tickets are available on our Shop. Events are priced individually.
Because we want The California Mermaid Convention to be accessible to our community, most of our events on Friday are free to attend.

Will You Have Vendors at your Event?
Parking is free at Hagan Community Center and Pool in their main lot. Additional street parking may be found in the surrounding neighborhood, or in the paid lot at Hagan Park.
Events in Downtown Sacramento, Old Town Sacramento, and at our River Clean Up location will most likely have a parking fee. Guests should be prepared with a card or cash for these locations.
We also encourage our guests to take advantage of Lyft and Uber to transport them to our events.

From bath products, children's toys, games, tea, costumes, art, trinkets and books; we hope to host a range of beautifully crafted items.

How Do I Get Involved?
In addition to supporting this wonderful event through your ticket purchase, we have many wonderful opportunities for guests to be involved.
We will be looking for a reliable team of trusted volunteers. Please keep your eyes on our social media pages and website for info as we release it.

Reminders
-We are a PAPERLESS convention. We will not be mailing tickets, nor will tickets be available for pick up. Simply show your receipt upon check in for entry to any event
-Outside Food and Drinks ARE permitted, bring a picnic. Food available for purchase onsite as well
-Water and First Aid Kits can be found at the Mermaid and Mom Booth through the weekend!
-Remember to bring your re-usable water vessel for the Bubble Ball
-Please ask for consent before filming or photographing any attendees; consent is key!
-Swim times for children in the adult pool will be strictly monitored in our Schedule. Adults may only enter our Children's pool in tail if they are a parent or guardian of a child in the Children's Pool
