Mermaid Nima's River Clean Up and Picnic

Become a True Mermaid by Cleaning Our Waterways

Join Mermaid Nima and the American River Parkway Foundation as they become true stewards of the aquatic environment! Mermaid Nima and convention attendees will gather at lovely Tiscornia Park on the rivers of Sacramento to gather trash, tidy the beach and assist in tangible ecological activism! Trash will be gathered and weighed after an hour and a half of cleaning time; whoever gathers the most trash will win a one of a kind Mermaid Crown from Mermaid and Mom!

After the cleanup has wrapped, Mermaid Nima invites all attendees to a picnic on the newly cleaned beaches. This is a chance to make new merfriends, grab some great photos, and even cool down in the river!

Cleaning the waterways has always been a huge part of The California Mermaid Convention. This year we were honored to work with California Native, Mermaid Nima. Nima is our ANGEL sponsor for this event, and we are so grateful to have her kind and eco-thoughtful heart presenting this Clean Up to convention attendees!
