Event Details
The California Mermaid Convention has been the ultimate summer mermaid extravaganza since 2011. We have grown from a handful of fishy friends dressing up and parading the streets of Old Sacramento, to a trailblazing gathering that attracts participants from around the world.
The convention hosts mermaids who are leaders in the industry, special guest performers, unique entertainment, swim meet-ups for mermaids of all ages and skill levels, lectures, panels, workshops, photoshoots, sister events, virtual & in person accessory events throughout the year, our world famous annual promenade in historic Old Sacramento, river/beach clean ups and so much more!
Your involvement will reach a wide range of demographics. We believe swimming and mermaiding is for everyone and encourage participation from folks of all walks of life. Mermaiding is often a quirky side hobby of professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and more.
Our Instagram is active with over 8k followers all over the US. We are looking for leaders in the Mermaid Industry, local businesses and like minded fishfolk to help us make the 2024 event as successful as possible.

Available Sponsorship Levels
King Neptune Level Event Sponsor - $3,000 1 available
All of the recognition and none of the work! Your company name and/or logo will be added alongside the organizers as the official event sponsor. Your logo and/or company name will be added to all major print/official tee shirts and you will be tagged in all media mentions alongside the organizers. Your business name and/or logo will be featured on our website as well as any official signage at in person events alongside the event organizers.

This sponsorship goes directly to funding our main evening event on Saturday, the Mermaid Bubble Ball, featuring live entertainment, cocktails, yummy food, costumes, ocean themed decor, excellent music, dancing and so much more! Held from 7:30-11:30pm on Saturday night in Rancho Cordova. 300+ people expected at this event.

This sponsorship goes directly to funding our Dive Pool activities during Saturday/Sunday’s main convention which typically include speciality classes and photoshoots.

Promenade Sponsor - $300 5 available
The Annual Promenade of Mermaids will be held in Historic Old Sacramento on Friday evening as part of the California Mermaid Convention. The event will take place on the beautiful embarcadero in front of the famous Delta King riverboat. It will be host to a costumed promenade, contests, prizes, live music, vendors and more! The Promenade Sponsorship goes directly to funding this FREE, family friendly, public event.

River Clean Up Sponsor - $1+ Unlimited available
This sponsorship will go towards funding several clean-ups throughout the year. A portion of all proceeds from the California Mermaid Convention will be donated to the American River Parkway to further aide in river and beach clean ups.
